About this app

OXPlayer is a Telegram-connected video manager and player for Android. Sign in with your Telegram account, link to the OXPlayer service, and browse, organize, and play videos from the library built for your account.

Your Telegram as personal media server
OXPlayer does not host or sell movies and shows, and the app does not scan your Telegram chats on its own for films and series. We use Telegram as your personal playback layer: you send videos to our bot, we index them for your account, and the app presents them in a clean library with posters, search, resume playback, favorites, and watchlist synced through the OXPlayer API.

How to add movies and shows
• Open @OXPlayerBot on Telegram
• Send a video (or video file) with a caption describing the title (movie or TV episode)
• The bot matches metadata (e.g. TMDB) and adds the item to your OXPlayer library when indexing succeeds
• Open OXPlayer on your phone to watch and manage your library

What you can do in the app
• Sign in with Telegram (QR or phone)
• Browse your indexed library with rich metadata
• Resume where you left off across devices
• Search, favorites, watchlist, and subtitle preferences
• Choose which Telegram dialogs appear in “My Telegram” for other video flows

How it works
The app talks to an OXPlayer backend (Jellyfin-compatible API). Your account, library references, and watch progress are stored on that server so your experience stays in sync when you sign in again.
