About this game

Passant is chess for people who don't have 40 minutes to sit at a board.

You play from a widget on your home screen, one move at a time. Glance at it, make your move, get on with your day. When it's your turn, you'll know.

— PLAY FROM THE WIDGET —
The board lives on your home screen. Tap a square, move a piece, done. No app to open, no menus to dig through. Your games are always one glance away.

— CORRESPONDENCE CHESS WITH FRIENDS —
Add a friend and start a game that plays out over hours or days. Passant tracks whose turn it is across all your matches, so you never lose your place. Give a friend a nudge when they're taking too long.

— PLAY THE BOT —
No friends online? A bot is always ready for a quick game.

— BUILT DIFFERENT —
Passant doesn't try to look like every other chess app. No wooden boards, no clutter — just a fast, focused, opinionated little game that fits into the gaps in your day.
