Passenger Seat is a road-trip companion that narrates history, local stories, and interesting context about landmarks along your drive.

Start Live before your journey. Passenger Seat uses your location to find nearby landmarks and tell their stories as the drive progresses. Live monitoring and active trip narration can continue while another app is open or your screen is off. With notifications enabled, an ongoing notification identifies the driving session and offers a Stop control. You can also stop Live or end a trip inside Passenger Seat.

Plan a Trip prepares stories along a route. What Was That?! helps identify a landmark you just passed. Find Things Near Me finds a story near your current location. History lets you revisit stories you have heard.

Passenger Seat explains its location use before requesting permission. During Live monitoring and active trip narration, location is used even when the app is not on screen. Location and nearby-place context are sent to service providers to find landmarks and create stories and audio.

Start your session before driving and let a passenger handle any on-screen controls during the journey.
