PickRoute UK helps you explore the road network, compare routes and prioritise avoiding mapped narrow roads, including when a wider-road alternative takes longer.

EXPLORE BEFORE YOU GO
Open a regional map around your journey, inspect roads and choose roads you want to include. Compare the resulting route before starting navigation.

PLAN FOR YOUR VEHICLE
Set your vehicle width, height and weight. PickRoute uses available road-width and restriction information to check route candidates, and identifies where information is incomplete. Unknown width is not treated as proof that a road is wide.

FOLLOW YOUR JOURNEY
Use turn-by-turn guidance, British English voice instructions, traffic-aware travel times and mapped speed-camera alerts. The navigation view adapts to portrait and landscape.

DOWNLOAD MAP REGIONS
Keep selected map regions for offline browsing. Place searches and new route calculations require an internet connection; full offline navigation is not included.

Coverage varies by road and data source. Widths, cameras, speed limits and restrictions may be missing or out of date. PickRoute does not provide complete HGV routing or guaranteed vehicle clearance. Always follow road signs, local restrictions and conditions. Enter your actual vehicle dimensions before planning a journey.

What’s new

Routes during navigation now shows checked route choices from where you are, like at the start, for caravans, motorhomes and HGVs too.
Switch "Avoid narrow roads" straight from the route list.
Important warnings stay visible on small screens and with large text.
Home, Work and Saved buttons are no longer cut off.
