Your friend has gone nine days straight without sugar. You're at kilometer 34 of your 100-kilometer journey. Each of you has your own challenge and your own progress, and you both see it.
Pitchmi is a social network for challenges. Someone proposes one—a photo of this afternoon's sky, 21 days without sugar, 100 km this fall, the books you'll read this year—and anyone who wants to can join: there are no requests or invitations.
There's no fixed deadline. Each person counts their days from the moment they log in, so being late is impossible. What you post is visible instantly, and you can see what others are posting.
Four ways to propose a challenge:
One day. A photo, a video, or a few lines, whenever you want.
One habit. Each day is marked, for 7, 14, 21, 30, 66, 90, or 180 days.
One goal. A number to reach: kilometers, minutes, pages, euros, times. Each person has their own, or they can all go in the same pot.
A collection. What you're collecting, each with a name: books, countries, dishes.
Your profile isn't a continuous wall: it's organized by what you've done. Goals are tracked with their progress, habits have their own boxes, photos and videos are displayed in a strip, and your writing and collections have their own list.
You vote on what you post, not on the person, and points are broken down by theme: no one labels themselves as good at drawing; that label is given by the votes of those who were there.
Each challenge has its own chat, with mentions, and you can mute one without turning off the others. With a private profile, only your friends can see what you post.
Pitchmi is free. With Pitchmi Pro, €12 a year, you can see who has applauded you and who views your profile, how your challenges are going and how many people are returning, and you can message people who aren't yet your friend.
