About this app

PlateMe turns every license plate into a conversation. Alert the driver of another car, receive alerts about your own, and connect with the community of drivers across Europe—all anonymously.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Alert any European license plate: Scan it with your camera or type it in, choose the type of alert (lights on, illegal parking, collision, towing, etc.), and the driver will receive an instant push notification, even with the app closed.

• Chat privately: After the alert, you can both open a chat with photos, videos, and voice notes, without sharing your phone number or email address.

• Integrated walkie-talkie: Real-time voice channels by zone, route, or topic, with Neon or Retro style. The walkie-talkie continues to work while you use other screens.

• Shared routes: Create a route, invite your friends, and see on a shared map where each car is—with shared stops and their own walkie-talkie. When you're finished, no record is kept.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

PlateMe only needs your license plate number. Your name, email, and phone number are never visible to anyone—not to the driver you're talking to, nor to the rest of the community. All communications are anonymous by default.

HOW TO GET STARTED

1. Download the app and sign in with Google, Apple, or your email.

2. Register your license plate number.

3. Start receiving alerts about your car and sending them to other drivers.
