PolyGOAT is a free Spanish learning app for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. It plays like a group chat you are actually in, not a vocabulary drill.

Other Spanish apps give you single words with no story attached, or a feed of native videos that are way over your head. PolyGOAT gives you Spanish you can almost understand, in a story you want to finish.

The Martínez family texts you in Spanish. Abuela Lupita is making salsa nobody survives, Tía Carmen sends cat GIFs at 2am, and Rosa is nine and keeps a spreadsheet of everyone's weaknesses. You read the thread, tap any word you don't know, and choose a reply. That's the lesson.

WHY IT WORKS

It's comprehensible input, built as a course instead of an endless feed. Each lesson sits just above what you already know.

You never type a sentence from scratch. You pick your reply, which makes the whole thing move like a game and keeps you reading instead of freezing over grammar you haven't been taught yet.

Words come back on purpose. A word from Abuela's taco rant shows up three lessons later in a joke, then in a voice note from Diego. By the fourth time you're not translating it.

SILVER AND GOLD: SAME DRAMA, DIFFERENT VERBS

Chats come back too. Finish one, then replay the same scene from a different seat. Ana's first chat in Silver is Abuela Lupita telling you what Ana wants, so it's all third person. The Gold one puts you in the group deciding together, so it's all nosotros.

You already know the story, so the only new thing left to notice is the verb. That is why conjugation stops being a table you memorize, and it is the part of learning Spanish most apps never get to.

PolyGOAT is built for beginners first. Starting from zero: the first chats are short, slow, and mostly guessable. Already know some Spanish: the family talks faster, the jokes stop being obvious, the stories get longer. Either way you're reading real Spanish on day one, not "the boy eats an apple".

Every chat and every story is written by writers who care about the punchline. Nothing here is scraped, and it isn't an English textbook run through a translator. If a line is funny in Spanish, somebody made it funny in Spanish.
