What do I really want? Why does an interesting path seem "not for me"? Is this what I want, or is it expected of me?
"Understand Yourself" — short lessons about desires, interests, values, and life choices. Ideas from psychology and philosophy are revealed through familiar situations, questions, and small discoveries.
One lesson takes approximately 3-5 minutes: you read a story, choose an answer, and explore the meaning behind it. Some questions can be used to check your understanding, while others encourage reflection on your own experience.
Included in the course:
— Why someone else's success changes your own perception;
— How to distinguish a specific goal from what's important to you in that goal;
— Why it's sometimes difficult to give up what you've already started;
— Where does the feeling of "I'm falling behind" come from;
— How interest can develop gradually;
— How to try something new without committing to your entire life at once.
Lessons are sequential. Your progress is saved on your device, and you can return to previous lessons. The main course does not require registration or an internet connection.
The explanations are accompanied by illustrations and references. You can explore the ideas at your own pace, without mandatory written homework.
All lessons are available free of charge. At certain points in the course, there are invitations to a separate, paid program, "Potential Laboratory," available via an external link.
