About this app

Preview is a file manager and universal file viewer in one. Browse all your storage, then open photos, videos, PDFs, documents, e-books and archives in a single fast viewer. No account. No sign-up. No clutter.

BROWSE ALL YOUR FILES
• Internal storage, SD cards and USB drives, showing the space used on each
• Places: Downloads, Recents, Favorites, Trash and your own folders
• Categories: Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, Archives
• List or grid view, sort by name, kind, date or size, show hidden files
• Fast search by name across your whole device
• Copy, move, rename, duplicate, create folders and select many items at once
• Trash with restore, so a deleted file is never gone by accident

OPEN ALMOST ANYTHING
• PDF: continuous, single or two-page layout, page thumbnails, go to page, copy text, plus find in document and password-protected PDFs on supported Android versions
• Images: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC, AVIF, SVG and more, with smooth pinch zoom
• Video and audio: speed control, subtitles, audio tracks, loop
• Text and code: syntax highlighting, line numbers, find, JSON pretty print
• Markdown, HTML, CSV and TSV tables
• Office: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, ODT, ODS, ODP and RTF as a simplified read-only preview
• E-books (EPUB) with table of contents and text size, and CBZ comics
• Archives: ZIP, 7z, TAR, GZ, BZ2 and XZ open like folders; preview inside and extract

MADE FOR EVERY SCREEN
Phones, tablets and foldables, with a two-pane layout on large screens, New Window for side-by-side files, keyboard and mouse support, and light and dark themes. Available in English and Arabic.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your files stay on your device. Preview never uploads a file, a file name, a folder path or anything you type into search. No in-app purchases, no account, and no data sold to anyone. To fix crashes and to see which features are actually used, the app does send basic usage statistics and crash reports to Firebase; the privacy policy lists exactly what they contain.

ABOUT ALL FILES ACCESS
To show every folder and to copy, move, rename and delete files for you, Preview asks for "All files access". It is optional: without it, Preview works in Limited mode with only the folders you choose.
