About this app

A complete Sephardic siddur (Edot HaMizrach) in the tradition of the Ben Ish Chai. Everything works OFFLINE: this siddur never opens a single connection.

TODAY'S TEXT, AND ONLY TODAY'S
Conditional passages — Ya'aleh VeYavo, Al HaNissim, Chanukah, Purim, the Ten Days of Repentance, fast days — appear on the day they are said and vanish otherwise. No more rubrics to decipher in the middle of tefillah.

ZMANIM COMPUTED FOR YOUR LOCATION
Halachic times are computed by an on-device solar engine, with no network: Alot HaShachar, Misheyakir, Netz, latest Shema (Magen Avraham and GRA), Chatzot, Mincha Gedola, Mincha Ketana, Shkia, Tzeit HaKochavim. Countdown to the zman of your choice.

SHABBAT TIMES AND HEBREW CALENDAR
Shabbat start and end, candle lighting, nightfall. A twelve-month calendar: Shabbatot, festivals, Chol HaMoed, Rosh Chodesh and fast days, each with its times.

REMINDERS THAT RESPECT THE DAY
A reminder the evening before a fast, a wish at its start, a festival announced three days ahead, and "Shabbat Shalom" on Friday morning with the parashah and the times. Never in the evening, never during Shabbat or Yom Tov.

THE THREE SERVICES, AND ROSH CHODESH IN ITS PLACE
Shacharit, Mincha and Arvit, following the Sephardic Edot HaMizrach rite. On Rosh Chodesh, Hallel after the Amidah, the Bamidbar reading, Musaf and then Barechi Nafshi slot into the service by themselves — no hunting for them elsewhere.

YOU FIND YOUR PLACE AGAIN
Reading resumes where you left off, and any prayer can be bookmarked, reachable from the home screen.

THE NAMES YOU CARRY IN PRAYER
Enter names for a refuah shelemah: they appear on their own at the Refa'enu blessing, in all three services. Add a personal request at the end of Elokai Netzor, and the verse from Tehillim that carries the letters of your name. All of it stays on your device.

VOCALIZED HEBREW, TRANSLITERATION, TRANSLATION
Fully vocalized Hebrew text, phonetic transliteration for those who read Hebrew with difficulty, and a translation alongside. Adjustable text size, light or dark theme, screen kept awake while you pray.

ALSO IN THIS SIDDUR
Birkat HaMazon with Zimun · Al HaMichya · Birkot HaNehenin · Tefillat HaDerech · Birkat HaLevanah · Shir HaShirim · Perek Shirah · Megillat Esther · Seder Hafrashat Challah · Monday and Thursday Torah reading split into Kohen, Levi and Yisrael · Omer count markable from the widget · direction of prayer towards Jerusalem with a compass.

ASKING NOTHING OF YOU
No account, no sign-up, no advertising, no tracking, no needless permissions. This siddur connects to nothing: your prayers, your names and your location never leave your phone.

Interface in English or French.

Dedicated to the elevation of the souls of Messod, Yitzchak and Maimone, sons of Miryam.
