About this app

"How much is this in Japanese Yen?" Find the answer with minimal effort.

KAWASE is a currency conversion app that focuses solely on "conversion," without unnecessary features.

Simply enter the amount, and the conversion result will appear immediately below. That's all there is to it.

・Large calculator keys for entering amounts

Instead of the standard smartphone keyboard, we've provided large keys with only numbers, "000," "decimal point," and "erase."

This makes it easy to enter amounts quickly, even with one hand.

・Switch currencies by tapping the amount field

No need to search around the screen. Simply tap the currency name to the right of the amount.

There's also a button to swap the currencies.

・Displays price differences as well

Exchange rates alone don't tell you whether something is "cheap or expensive."

KAWASE uses the price index to show how many times more expensive a country's prices are compared to your own.

Furthermore, you can get a feel for prices with the "Price Comparison Chart," which lists the approximate prices of water, coffee, beer, hamburgers, lunch, subway, taxis, and hotels.

* Calculate the total from the unit price

"How much is it per year if it's this much per month?" "How much is it for how many if it's this much per item?"

Calculate the total using the formula: Unit Price × Quantity/Multiplier, and then convert it directly to another currency.

Exchange rates are saved on your device after acquisition,

so you can convert using the most recent rate even when you're out of range or in airplane mode.
