When you think, "If only it were a little bigger I could read it,"
you can use your smartphone in your pocket as a magnifying glass.
■ Just hold it over. Up to 10x magnification
When you open the app, the camera image immediately fills the screen.
Simply hold it over what you want to read and move the slider at the bottom to the right.
On compatible devices, you can magnify up to 10x using "optical zoom" with the camera lens itself. Unlike simply stretching,
the shape of the text remains intact.
You can also magnify by pinching and spreading with two fingers.
■ Sharpen outlines with the "Sharpness" slider
Simply magnifying can sometimes leave the image blurry.
Moving the "Sharpness" slider clarifies the outlines of the text.
At the same time, it also suppresses the fine graininess that appears in dark places.
You can adjust the amount of blurring on the spot to suit what you are viewing.
■ Pause and Read Slowly
Your hands are shaking, causing the text to waver. It's difficult to keep your arm raised.
In such cases, use the "Pause" button. The screen will freeze.
After pausing, you can move to the desired location by swiping with your finger.
Lower your arm and read slowly in a comfortable position.
*This is not a function to save as a photograph.
The screen is only temporarily paused; nothing is recorded anywhere.
■ Light in Dark Places
At the back of a shelf, under a desk, outdoors at night.
The "Light" button turns on the camera's light.
(Only available on devices with a light)
■ Easy-to-Press, Large Control Panel
Only two knobs and four buttons.
The buttons are sized for easy finger pressing,
and their colors are inverted to show which one is currently active.
When you want to view only the video in a larger size, you can hide the control panel by tapping "Close".
It won't disappear or reappear on its own. Opening and closing is entirely at your discretion.
Tapping the screen will focus on that location.
Tilting your smartphone sideways will rotate the video along with it.
■ Bonus: Glasses Frames
You can overlay images of glasses frames onto the screen.
Black frames, round glasses, tortoiseshell, cat-eye, browline,
and two types of sunglasses (for no particular reason). A total of 8 types.
It doesn't change how you see things. It's just for decoration.
Please set it to "None" when not using it.
■ Camera Images are Not Saved or Transmitted
This app does not have the functionality to record photos or videos.
The video is simply processed and displayed on the screen;
No shooting data is saved on the device, nor is it sent anywhere.
It does not perform any text recognition or object identification.
What the camera is pointing at is not transmitted externally. Only one value, the "Image Orientation Setting," is saved on your device.
