On a dark world map, the cities where people are drifting right now light up one by one with a warm glow.

Pyoru is a small journaling community for people living abroad — language study, exchange, working holiday — sharing the quiet texture of daily life in an unfamiliar city. Through the lights on the map, you can feel that somewhere on the other side of the planet, someone is drifting through the same loneliness and the same small wonder, at the very same hour.

■ Glowing cities on a world map
Pick a continent and watch the cities where people are drifting flicker on like lanterns. Choose one that draws you, and read the journals of the people living there.

■ Drift journals
A small thing that happened today, a clumsy phrase in the local language, an alley that's starting to feel familiar. It doesn't have to be polished. This is a place to gently leave the moments that feel too precious to let drift away.

■ Send a lantern
You can quietly cheer someone on by sending a lantern to their journal — a small light that flickers on from far away on a lonely night.

■ City-level privacy
Location is chosen by city, not by GPS. We do not collect precise location. Only the city you're drifting through is softly shared.

■ Start without signing up
No complicated registration, no external identity verification. Browse and write right away as a guest drifter. If you'd like, you can save and recover your entries with an email.

The app uses only an internet connection. It does not request camera or precise-location permissions.
