Most chore and behavior apps keep score in one direction: kids do, parents judge. Qdos doesn't. House rules apply to all of you, and anyone can report a broken one. Yes, a kid can dock Dad for boots on the rug, or call out Mom for "no phones at dinner." (An adult's report applies straight away; a kid's waits for a parent.)

HOW IT WORKS
1. Set the chores — a value, a schedule, a time of day, a checklist, a proof photo.
2. Kids check them off; you approve with a tap. The app does the chasing, not you.
3. Agree the house rules. "Shoes off inside." "Screens off at dinner." Break one, it costs.
4. Settle up when you're ready. Qdos tracks what's earned and owed; you pay your kids directly. No real money moves through Qdos — no cards, no bank links.

FAIR TURNS, NO ARGUMENT
Rotate a chore around the kids and Qdos remembers whose turn it is — you don't. Or give everyone their own, or leave it up for grabs. Every chore keeps a history, so "I always do it!" finally has an answer. Away or sick? Pause it, or let a kid ask to skip.

CASH OR POINTS — YOUR CALL
Not keen on real money? Flip your household to points and Qdos becomes a reward chart — the sticker chart off the fridge, without the stickers. Stock a Reward Shelf with what motivates your kids: "Movie night — 200 pts," "30 min screen time — 50 pts." They tap Redeem, you approve, points come off.

NOT EVERYTHING IS A SCOREBOARD
- A daily spark — one short, warm note each. Or write your own: "Good luck at field day."
- Cheers — encouragement, sent to anyone. Kids can cheer parents too.
- Savings goals with a progress bar — "$4 to the LEGO set" beats a lecture.

- A shared family calendar — appointments, clubs, practice, school — in Apple or Google Calendar.

- Free trial: 7 days, started in the app with a payment method. No charge until it ends.
- Payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; renewal is charged within 24 hours of that.
- Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play > Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

What’s new

Setting up your family is smoother. While Qdos drafts your plan, the wait now tells you what it's working on — reading about your family, drafting each kid's chores by name, sizing the amounts to your budget, then putting the calendar together — instead of a silent spinner. The plan builds faster too.

Fixed: if you tick 'show on the family calendar' on a chore while reviewing your setup, the time and place you typed are now kept.
