Just hop on your bike: Radrunde plans circular routes on the North Rhine-Westphalia cycling network.
You tell us how far you want to go — the app creates the route for you. Junction by junction,
back to the start.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap the starting point on the map (or select your location) and set your
desired distance.
2. Radrunde calculates up to three varied circular routes.
3. Navigate junction by junction — the app always shows you the
next junction along the way.
WHAT IS A JUNCTION NETWORK?
A signposted network of cycle paths whose intersections are numbered.
At each junction, there is a sign with a number and directions to the
neighboring junctions — navigation is done along a sequence of numbers (e.g., 12 → 36 → 83). North Rhine-Westphalia is fully covered with over 3,000 junctions
and around 23,800 kilometers of signposted routes.
``` FEATURES
• Round Trip Generator: A route that takes you back home —
in the length you want
• Up to three variations per request — swipe to compare
• Add a desired destination: Set a destination or turning point, and the route
is created around it
• Junction Navigation: Next junction, distance, and direction — with
a warning if you leave the route
• Junction Chart: Your route's number sequence displayed as a large, easy-to-read chart
and shareable as an image
• Even without a signal: The NRW network data is stored on your device after the first launch — if the network drops, your phone calculates the route itself
(Map view requires a network connection)
• All NRW regions: from Münsterland to the Lower Rhine and on to the Sauerland
FREE FOR ALL OF NRW
The NRW junction network is permanently free — no account and no ads.
DATA PROTECTION
No account, no ads, no advertising ID. For route calculation,
the app sends the starting point and desired distance to our server. Only a roughly rounded starting area (approximately one kilometer) and the suggested route you selected are stored, linked to a random identifier for your installation—no name, no account. Your location remains on your device for map and navigation purposes. Shared routes are stored anonymously so your link works. Details: radrunde.app/datenschutz
