About this app

Start with a hello.

RandomHello connects adults for random, one-to-one text conversations. Choose your chat language, set your matching preferences, and meet someone new.

A shared hour to talk
Each match starts with one free hour. The timer continues even if either person goes offline. When time runs out, the connection ends automatically. Either participant can leave earlier.

Find a compatible conversation
Match with people who select the same chat language. You can also set gender and age preferences. Both participants’ preferences must be compatible.

Simple profiles
Choose a built-in cartoon avatar and tap your partner’s avatar to view their profile. Your email address and date of birth are not shown to your partner. Photo uploads, voice calls and video calls are not supported.

For adults only
RandomHello is intended for users aged 18 and over. Email verification and adult eligibility checks are required. Chat access remains restricted when adult eligibility cannot be confirmed.

Safety tools
Built-in text filtering helps block prohibited content. You can end a conversation, block someone or submit a report. Filtering may miss harmful content, so reporting remains important.

Clear data practices
Ordinary chat messages are encrypted on the server and retained for 24 hours. Reported conversations may be preserved separately for 90 days, and verified legal preservation requirements may extend that period. Additional security records have separate retention periods described in our privacy notice.

Chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Other participants may copy or screenshot messages.

Account control
Delete your account from account settings, or request deletion through our support email if you cannot access the app.

This testing version supports text chat only. Real payments and paid chat extensions are not enabled.
