About this app
Redeo is a flashcard app for things worth understanding, not just recognising.
Each card is a question and an answer written in your own words. When a card comes due, you don't flip it and judge yourself. You write the answer out from memory, and Redeo compares it with the one you saved. The score decides when you see the card again: a strong answer is pushed further out, a weak one comes back sooner.
HOW IT WORKS
• Simplify: write each answer the way you would explain it to someone else. If a twelve-year-old couldn't follow it, it isn't ready.
• Recall as it fades: cards return just as you're about to forget them, scheduled with FSRS, a modern spaced-repetition algorithm.
• No grade buttons: you never rate yourself. The match score does it, so the schedule reflects what you actually remembered.
GRADED ON YOUR PHONE
Redeo scores your answer two ways: by the words you used, and by meaning, using a small language model that runs entirely on the device. A correct answer in different words still counts.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Redeo has no internet permission. Your cards, answers and study history never leave your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking.
QUIET REMINDERS
At most one reminder a day, silent by default, and never late at night.
FREE AND PRO
Free for up to 30 cards, with every feature included. Redeo Pro removes the card limit.
