About this app

Ridewith connects you with people already going your way so you can share a ride and split what it costs. Plan a one-time trip or a recurring commute, find nearby routes, and coordinate together.

THREE WAYS TO SHARE A RIDE
• I’ll drive: offer empty seats in your car and share gas and tolls.
• I need a ride: post where you’re going so drivers can offer to help. Other riders heading the same way can join your request.
• Split a rideshare: find people to book a trip together and share the fare.

PLAN AND COORDINATE
• Explore routes heading toward your destination.
• Post a route, review requests to join, and save routes for later.
• Use in-app chat to agree on pickup points, timing, and cost sharing.
• Share a route link, or keep a route unlisted for people you choose.

MAKE INFORMED CHOICES
View profiles, reviews, and verification badges to see which checks a member has completed. Available checks include government ID, school or work affiliation, and background checks. Members who complete the required identity, affiliation, and background checks can reach Gold.

Verification badges reflect checks completed at a point in time. Not every member is verified, and Ridewith does not guarantee anyone’s identity, history, or conduct. Blocking and reporting tools are available in the app.

SHARE COSTS
Ridewith shows suggested splits where available. Agree on expenses and settle up directly with your fellow travelers. Ridewith does not process ride payments or take a cut.

Ridewith is for adults aged 18 and older. It is a community carpooling and ride-coordination app, not a taxi or for-hire driving service.
