About this app
RoundIA is your on-call pocket notebook. Record patient information, medication, vital signs, and pending tasks while rushing between beds, without wasting time and without taking anything out of your scrubs pocket.
It was developed by nurses working real shifts: the ER at 3:00 AM, a twelve-bed ward, the ICU with beeping monitors, the operating room between procedures, and primary care between consultations. Each feature was developed based on a specific shift, not a brainstorming session.
What RoundIA does:
- Patient notebook by shift and service.
- Offline OCR reading of medication labels (ML Kit), without sending anything to the internet.
- Optional Gemini consultation for quick answers to questions (interactions, active ingredient, presentation), always with anonymized data before leaving the device.
- Templates for vital signs, IV fluids, wound care, and observations.
- Integrated search in the CIMA (AEMPS) drug formulary.
- Shift mode: the screen is designed for use with one hand while holding a pen. - Shift closing via QR code to pass the report to the next colleague without WhatsApp groups.
Privacy first
By default, your notes stay on your mobile device. There's no mandatory account, cloud synchronization isn't enabled by default, and we don't sell data. The optional AI anonymizes the text before viewing: no names, NHC numbers, or room numbers.
RoundIA is not an electronic health record system. It doesn't replace Selene, IANUS, Florence, or any other hospital EHR system. The notes you save here are yours, for your shift, just like your old paper notebook.
What RoundIA is not

- It doesn't diagnose, prescribe, or provide clinical advice.
- It doesn't replace the hospital's electronic health record.
- It doesn't store your data in the cloud by default.
