About this app
RoundIA is a digital notebook for nurses. It organizes your shift's patients, medications with their times, and IVs, and keeps your rotating shift schedule all in one place.
It works offline. Data is encrypted on your mobile phone, and the patient's name never leaves it.
It doesn't calculate dosages or replace the medical record. It organizes what you currently have on a folded piece of paper in your pocket.
It was created by nurses working real shifts: the ER at 3:00 AM, a twelve-bed ward, the ICU with beeping monitors, the operating room between procedures, and primary care between appointments. Each function originates from a specific shift, not from a brainstorming session.
What RoundIA® does

- Optional Gemini consultation for quick answers to questions (interactions, active ingredient, presentation), always with anonymized data before leaving the device.

- Shift mode: the screen is designed for one hand free and a stylus in the other.
- Shift closing via QR code to pass the report to the next colleague without WhatsApp groups.
Privacy first
By default, your notes stay on the mobile device. No account is required, cloud synchronization is not enabled by default, and we do not sell data. The optional AI anonymizes the text before it's accessed: no names, NHC numbers, or room numbers.
RoundIA is not a medical record system. It doesn't replace Selene, IANUS, Florence, or any other hospital EHR. The notes you save here are yours, for your shift, just like your paper notebook.
What RoundIA is not:
- It's not a medical device.
- It doesn't diagnose, prescribe, or give clinical advice.
- It doesn't replace the hospital's electronic health record.
- It doesn't store your data in the cloud by default.
All clinical decisions are the responsibility of the healthcare professional and the hospital's protocol. RoundIA is a personal support tool for your shift, just like your notebook and pen.
