Had some difficulty with navigation but overall did pretty well. My biggest disappointment was that it would say you passed a point of interest, but it didn't say what it was or tell you anything about it. It isn't a very good tool for someone traveling alone as it requires a lot of interaction with the phone. But, if you have a navigator, I did discover a couple of tricks that'll help you stay on track. I will use it again if I have the chance to travel the route again.

I did Route 66 a couple of years ago from Chicago west. The app had EVERYTHING you could possibly have been interested in seeing. The navigation was excellent and if you found you were on a stretch of the route that you felt was a slog, you could use the app in a way to allow you to skip bad stretches and still see what you wanted to see. Highly recommended.

Used this app to assist me with planning my upcoming Route 66 trips. It was very helpful finding sites and also alerting to any sites no longer available or unsafe. I'm not sure how the passport or collector stamps work yet on the app, but the location guide was the most important to me.
