NoGo shows you calmly and factually what is being reported in your neighborhood right now. No account, no sign-up, and nobody tracking where you are.
THE MAP
Instead of individual pins you see shaded areas. Yellow, orange and red show how strongly recent reports cluster in one place. One look is enough to get a feel for a street or a square before you head out. Tap an area and you see the individual reports behind it, with category and time.
REPORT IN TWO TAPS
Pick a category, confirm the location, done. There are deliberately no photos, no free text and no descriptions of people. NoGo is meant to help you read places, not to pillory people. Eight categories cover what matters day to day, from pickpocketing and harassment to poorly lit paths.
REPORTS FADE ON THEIR OWN
Acute reports start losing weight within a few hours and disappear from the map again. If several people confirm the same observation, it stays visible longer. The result is a current picture instead of a permanent label for a whole neighborhood.
ALERTS YOUR DEVICE WORKS OUT ITSELF
You decide which categories you want to be notified about and how wide your warning radius is, from 500 metres to 5 kilometres. The check runs locally on your device. There is no push server that would need to know where you are.
HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT
The emergency number for the country you are actually in, the nearest police station, the nearest hospital and safe places nearby. This section is always free and always free of ads.
PRIVACY BY DEFAULT
No account, no email address, no registration. Your reports are tied to an anonymous device identifier that you can delete at any time, together with all your data, from the settings.
NoGo is free and funded by ads on the map. Optionally there is Ad-Free at 2.99 EUR per month or 19.99 EUR per year, and Supporter at 5.99 EUR per month or 49.99 EUR per year, which helps cover running costs and further development. The app is available in twelve languages.
