Seedscout turns a plain-English description of the world you want into an actual seed you can play. Type something like "a village next to a desert temple" and Seedscout finds a matching seed, then lets you explore it on an interactive map before you ever load the game.

WHAT IT DOES
- Plain-English search: describe the world you want in your own words instead of guessing seed numbers or scrolling seed-list sites. Search understands English only for now.
- Works for Java and Bedrock Edition: pick your edition and Seedscout adjusts its search and its map to match.
- Explore before you commit: pan and zoom a real biome and structure map for every result, with spawn point, strongholds, villages, and other generated structures shown so you know what you're getting.
- Seed of the Day: a featured seed from our top-rated picks, refreshed daily, with a browsable archive of past days.
- Save your favorites: keep the seeds you like in one list, ready to open again any time.
- Nav companion (optional, Java Edition, early access): Seedscout Nav is an open-source Fabric mod that shows your live in-game position on Seedscout's map. It is pre-release and currently only available by building it yourself from source; it is not required to use the rest of the app.
- No account required, no clutter: open the app and start searching.
- Private by design: everything you type stays on your device. No AI service and no account, and nothing you type is ever sent anywhere.
HOW IT WORKS
Your search, seed exploration, map browsing, and saved seeds all run on your device using the open-source cubiomes project. Nothing you type ever leaves your phone. The seed data behind that search ships inside the app itself, so search works fully offline from first launch, with no download or account needed. This launch corpus is an experimental starting set bundled directly in the app; future releases plan to draw from a much larger seed corpus served from the cloud. Seedscout does not require an account and does not sell your data. Seedscout's own code adds no analytics or tracking SDK; the ads are served by Google AdMob, which receives its own ad requests, and Seedscout asks it for non-personalized ads only.
Seedscout is free to use and supported by ads. There is nothing to buy, unlock, or subscribe to.
Whether you're starting a new survival world, hunting a specific structure combo for a build project, or just curious what a seed looks like before you commit hours to it, Seedscout gets you there faster than trial and error.
Seedscout is an independent, original app built by TerminaLLM LLC, not made, endorsed, or sponsored by Mojang or Microsoft. All artwork, icons, and UI are original.
