About this app

Sylk is short video, done with taste.

No ad sludge in your feed. No algorithm screaming for your attention. Just a clean, fast, beautiful place to watch, post, and share — the way it should have been all along.

WATCH
• A full-screen feed that gets out of your way
• Hold anywhere to speed it up (2×–5×), or hold and drag to scrub through a video
• Photo posts too — single shots, collages, and swipeable carousels, all with sound

SHARE
• Hold the share button to fling a video straight to a friend
• Or open the full share sheet to send, save, or post elsewhere
• Real DMs with reactions, replies, photos, and videos
• Comments with GIFs

DISCOVER
• A dense, browsable Discover: trending videos, topics, sounds taking off, and creators to watch

MADE FOR CREATORS
• A serious camera: up to 4K at 60fps, both cameras recording at once, mid-take flips that never cut your audio, a React mode that films you and the world together, a green screen, and a teleprompter that follows your voice
• A real editor: a multi-clip timeline with per-clip trims, speeds, and filters — plus text, photo, and video layers, and a full audio mixer
• Auto-captions you can edit, restyle, and place anywhere
• Drafts that auto-save while you edit, so a dead battery never costs you a take
• The only ads here are creators promoting their own work — never in your feed

Sylk is dark, glass, and quiet by design. Come see what a social app feels like when it respects you.

What’s new

Sylk 2.0.1 — one moment, every angle.

Angles: invite friends (or a whole crowd by QR), hit record, and every phone rolls in sync. Swipe sideways on the post to switch points of view mid-play.

Grab: pause any video, tap Grab — the frame (or hold for a loop) becomes a sticker.

Schedule posts for later. Instant imports, per-clip volume, precise text timing, tappable @mentions.
