What is that bright light beside the Moon? Point your phone at it and find out.
SkyLumi is a photographic star map, pocket planetarium and stargazing guide. Identify stars, planets and constellations above you, then zoom into galaxies and nebulae through astronomical survey imagery. No astronomy experience or telescope needed.
POINT UP AND EXPLORE
Tap Aim to follow the sky as you move your phone. Use AR to overlay the map on your camera view, or explore by dragging and zooming. Search for an object by name and jump to its position.
Discover all 88 constellations, the Moon with its current phase, planets, star clusters, galaxies and nebulae. Track the calculated positions of the International Space Station and Starlink satellites using orbital data. Visibility outside depends on darkness, weather and your horizon.

A PHOTOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE
Follow the Milky Way, explore the Andromeda Galaxy, or look inside the Orion Nebula. SkyLumi brings together survey imagery including the Digitized Sky Survey (DSS2) and Pan-STARRS, with credits to the observatories and teams behind it.
The photographic view reveals details and colors beyond what your eyes can see unaided. Some deep-sky photographs are blended into the survey using AI-assisted image processing; source photographs and processing are credited in the app.
Prefer a different view? Switch to the clean catalog map or the painterly Sky Field mode.

• Horizon view: orient the map to your location.
• City stargazing: start with the Moon, bright planets and familiar stars.
