About this app

Catch it after it happens.

The goal. The first steps. The bow at the end of the recital. Snapback is always holding the last 30 seconds, so when something great happens you tap once and it's yours. Everything you didn't keep quietly disappears.

You came to watch, not to film
Film the whole game and you spend two hours watching through a screen, then never scrub through the footage to find the ten seconds that mattered. Wait for the moment instead, and by the time your camera is up the ball is already in the net. With Snapback you decide afterwards, and get both.

How it works
• Before kickoff, prop your phone on the fence or your bag and tap Start rolling.
• Watch the game. Snapback keeps the last half-minute ready and lets everything older slip away.
• Something great just happened? Tap Clip it. The run-up, the shot and the celebration go straight to your Gallery.

What you come home with
• Highlights, not footage. A two-hour game becomes a handful of short clips, with nothing to trim.
• A phone that isn't full. Nothing is saved until you say so, and the minutes you didn't clip never touch your storage.
• Clips ready for the group chat. Each one is an ordinary video in your Gallery, ready to send before the final whistle.
• The whole play. Keep 15 or 30 seconds, or 60 or 90 with Pro, to fit a free kick or a long rally.
• Fast action, still sharp. Up to 4K, and 60 frames a second when the play moves quickly, on phones that support them.
• Zoom in from the stands, and switch between the front and back cameras.
• Replays. Watch, share or delete your clips without leaving the app.

Made for
Saturday soccer, school recitals, first steps, pickup games, birthday candles, backyard tricks, swim meets and the skate park. Anywhere the best part is impossible to predict and too good to miss.

Private by design
No account, no ads, no tracking. Snapback records into a short buffer on your phone and doesn't upload your videos or audio: clips leave your phone only when you share them. To help us fix problems it sends technical crash and performance reports, which you can turn off in Game setup → Privacy settings.

Saved clips carry a small snapback mark in the corner. Snapback Pro removes it, keeps 60 or 90 seconds instead of 30, and adds slo-mo on phones that support it, as a monthly subscription or a one-time purchase.
Always holding the last 30 seconds. One tap keeps the moment you just saw.
