Key features:

• Real-time Markdown preview — supports KaTeX mathematical formulas, Mermaid diagrams, syntax highlighting, Wardley diagrams, and mind maps

• Two-way Wiki, backlinks, tags, and outline by note

• Local full-text and semantic search (RAG) — Vector libraries are on-device, never in the cloud

• Hunspell compatible spell check (English + Chinese, Japanese, and Korean built-in; more can be added from the marketplace)

• Themes (light/dark/community contribution), focus mode, typewriter mode, Pomodoro timer

• Optional BYOK AI: Comes with OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, or Ollama keys to use AI rewriting and the "Talk to Notes" panel. The app itself does not initiate any payment requests; the key remains solely on the device.

Privacy Protection:

SoloMD does not perform any analytics or tracking by default. The optional "Anonymous Reporting on App Launch" can be turned off in settings. Files are saved in a folder of your choice. Optional GitHub sync pushes to your own repository — SoloMD has no servers.
