About this app

Read everything faster — without skimming.

Spark Read uses RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) to display text one word at a time at speeds of 300–1000 WPM. Instead of moving your eyes across lines, each word appears in a fixed position with the Optimal Recognition Point highlighted — letting you read 2-3x faster while maintaining comprehension.

IMPORT ANYTHING
Drop in PDFs, EPUBs, Word documents, text files, Markdown, or paste any web URL. Spark Read extracts the text and formats it for speed reading. All parsing happens on your device — your documents never leave your phone.

INTELLIGENT PACING
Not every word deserves the same pause. Spark Read automatically adds micro-pauses at sentence endings, clause boundaries, and paragraph breaks — mimicking the natural rhythm of skilled reading so your brain has time to process.

ORP HIGHLIGHTING
The Optimal Recognition Point is where your eye naturally fixates on a word. Spark Read highlights this character in red so your brain can lock onto each word instantly. It's the difference between reading and scanning.

FOCUS MODE
An accessibility-first reading mode inspired by bionic reading. The first portion of each word is bolded, helping readers with ADHD or dyslexia maintain focus. Choose from five highlight colors to match your preference.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
See your reading speed, time spent, words read, and daily reading streaks in the analytics dashboard. Pick up any document exactly where you left off.
