SphereCut — 360° EDITING · ANDROID + WINDOWS
Your phone creates the edit. Your PC brings back every detail. Keep the large original on your computer and work with a small, complete 360° copy on your phone.
How it works
1. Drop. Scan. Start.
Drop a stitched 360° video into SphereCut PC. It creates a working copy up to 2048 pixels wide. Scan the QR code in the Android app to transfer it over the same local network.
2. Make the edit in your hand.
Choose the view, follow a subject, turn the phone, cut between two cameras or slow down a moment. The working copy contains the whole panorama, so you can still look in every direction.
3. Send the edit. Render the original.
Send the small project back to your PC. It applies your framing, cuts and slow motion to the original footage. Choose 4320p for a 7680 × 4320 landscape export.
Creative tools
• Follow the subject: Tap a recognisable detail and track it. If it disappears behind an obstacle, add a manual correction and continue.
• Hold to look around: Hold the Look back button and turn your phone. Release it to return smoothly to the tracked subject.
• Cut with your thumb: Prepare two views from the same panorama. Switch between them while the shared video and audio timeline keeps running.
• Give a moment more time: Hold a speed to mark a slow section. Choose 2× or 4× longer playback for that moment. Sound follows the slowdown.
Panorama, keyframes, a choice of lenses and landscape or portrait framing. Light, dark or system appearance, with 22 interface languages.
Lite · 6–8 GB RAM
With the PC workflow, the phone plays the lower-resolution working copy. The Windows PC decodes and renders the original. Lite reduces preview and tracking demands for phones with 6 or 8 GB RAM. Smoothness also depends on the phone’s decoder, processor and temperature.
Which videos can I import?
Use stitched monoscopic equirectangular 360° video, normally 2:1 and SDR. Compatible exports from GoPro, Insta360 and other cameras can work. Stitch proprietary dual-lens files first. Direct import of proprietary .360 files and HDR processing are not supported.
