About this app

SplitHub helps groups of friends, flatmates, couples and travellers keep track of shared expenses, so everyone can see who paid, who owes and how to even things out.

Add an expense, choose how to split it, and SplitHub keeps the running balance for the whole group in Indian rupees. No spreadsheets, no mental arithmetic, no awkward reminders.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign in with your Google account.
2. Create a group (a trip, a flat, a dinner club) and share its invite code with the people you want to add.
3. Add expenses as they happen. Say who paid and how it is divided.
4. Check balances any time. SplitHub shows a short list of who should pay whom to clear everything.
5. When someone pays someone back, record it as a settlement and the balances update.

WHAT'S INSIDE

- Groups with an invite code. Anyone with the code can join (up to 50 members). Admins can reset the code, change roles and remove members.
- Three ways to split: equally, by exact amounts, or by percentage.
- Categories for expenses: food, groceries, transport, stay, shopping, entertainment, utilities and general.
- Live balances for each group and a summary of what you owe and are owed across all groups.
- Simplified "who pays whom" suggestions that reduce the number of payments needed.
- Settle up: record a payment made outside the app, in cash, by UPI or however you agreed.
- Activity feed showing what changed in each group.
- Amounts are stored as exact rupee and paise values, so the totals always add up.

WHAT SPLITHUB IS NOT

SplitHub is a record-keeping tool. It does not send, receive, hold or lend money, and it does not connect to your bank or UPI. When you settle up, you pay the other person yourself and then record it in the app.

PRIVACY AND SAFETY

- 18+ only.
- No ads. No analytics or tracking SDKs. No location, contacts, camera or microphone access.
- We store your Google account name, email and profile picture link, plus the groups, expenses and settlements you and your group members enter.
- Other members of your groups can see the expenses and balances in that group. Your email address is not shown to them.
- Report a member, group or expense from inside the app. Reports go to a real person.
- Delete your account from Settings at any time, once your balances are settled.
