About this app

Spoolroom is a filament tracker for 3D printing. Weigh a spool once and see the grams left on every roll; each print then takes its filament usage off the right spool, with its cost.

Drop in the sliced file and Spoolroom reads the grams per color. Or let prints log themselves: a small watcher on your home network reads Klipper printers (confirmed on the Snapmaker U1) and the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2.

Spoolroom has a free plan.

KNOW WHAT IS ON THE SHELF
- Grams left on every roll. Put a spool on any kitchen or shop scale; Spoolroom takes off the empty spool's weight and records what is left.
- Every material and color in one list, grouped by brand, with the total on hand by material.
- A short list of what needs attention: spools running low, due for a weigh, or due for drying.
- Where each spool lives: shelves, dryboxes, bins.

ADD FILAMENT QUICKLY
- Take a photo of a spool label or box. The assistant reads it and matches the catalog, and you confirm before anything is saved.
- Photograph a receipt to add every roll on it at once.
- Or search the catalog, or type it in.

PRINTS, GRAMS AND COST
- Every print records the filament it used, per spool and per tool head, with filament and power cost.
- The watcher logs finished prints without typing. It runs on a computer on the same network as your printers, such as a Mac or a Raspberry Pi.
- Early support for Bambu Lab, Prusa (PrusaLink), Creality, Anycubic, the first Elegoo Centauri Carbon, FlashForge and OctoPrint.
- Plan a print and reserve the filament it needs before you start.

FILO, THE ASSISTANT
Tell Filo what happened at the bench, such as "used 85 g of the black PETG", and it prepares the change. Nothing is written until you tap confirm, and weighs and print deductions can be undone. Photos and messages go to the AI provider only after you allow it.

On the free plan, photo intake, receipt reading and Filo run on your own Claude or OpenAI API key, added in Settings → AI.

LABELS, SUPPLIES AND NOTES
- Print QR labels for your spools; scan one with the phone camera to open that spool.
- Track supplies too: magnets, heat-set inserts, glue, nozzles and build plates.
- Keep printing notes and recipes next to the filament they belong to.

ON ANDROID
- Share a photo to Spoolroom from your gallery or Files to start adding a spool.
- Print labels through Android's print service.
- Long-press the icon to jump straight to Weigh, Add or Log print.

YOUR DATA
Export your inventory and print history at any time. You can delete your account from Settings in the app.
