About this app
SpoolState is the free filament manager for your 3D printer – no ads, for any printer and any filament brand. For every spool you see how much is left, where it is and when to buy more.
WEIGH INSTEAD OF GUESS
Put the spool on a kitchen scale and type the gross weight. SpoolState subtracts the empty spool and works out the remaining weight and length. Every change is saved in the spool's history.
YOUR WHOLE STOCK AT A GLANCE
• Search, filter and sort by material, brand, colour, location and status
• List or colour grid
• Overview with spool count, total weight and stock value
• Warning when a spool is almost empty, plus a shopping list
KNOW WHERE EVERY SPOOL IS
Create locations: a shelf, a drying box or the slots in your printer. You'll find every spool straight away.
LABELS AND SCANNING
• Print your own QR labels (50 × 30 mm) and start anywhere on the sheet
• Scan a label and go straight to the right spool
• Scan a Prusament QR code: the spool data is fetched from prusament.com
• NFC tags: stick a tag on the spool, tap it, done. NFC is optional, the app also works on phones without NFC.
CLOUD OR LOCAL, YOUR CHOICE
• Cloud: with an account, stock on several devices. You can keep logging without a connection; it syncs once you're back online.
• Local: no account. Your stock stays on this device only.
You can switch later in the settings.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
• Export as JSON (complete, with history) or CSV
• Import from SpoolState and Spoolman files
• Delete your account at any time in the app
