Stock Runner turns scattered internal requests into one clear shopping list — for any business, kitchen, or household that buys regularly.
It sits between "we need this" and the actual order. Anyone on the team captures what's needed. Managers approve when needed. Approved items are consolidated per supplier, location, or category, ready to send through whatever channel already works.
BUILT FOR
• Corner shops, convenience stores, and small retailers — capture daily staff requests, build clean supplier lists before each run
• Supermarkets and grocery stores — staple items and customer requests, ready for the buying manager
• Restaurants and cafes — kitchen, front-of-house, and store teams submit needs into one purchasing list
• Contract catering and corporate kitchens — kitchen, pantry, housekeeping, and events feed daily into one workflow
• Hotels and enterprise kitchens — F&B, banquets, housekeeping, and maintenance — one shared request system
• Offices and corporate teams — pantry, stationery, cleaning, and facilities requests in one place
• Workshops, industrial, and repair businesses — technician part and consumable requests grouped by vendor
• Individuals and households — a simple shared shopping list for family or personal use
THE WORKFLOW
1. REQUEST — Anyone on the team adds what they need: item, quantity, urgency, site, department, or note. Scan a barcode, search, type, or speak — whichever is fastest.
2. APPROVE (OPTIONAL) — Managers or owners review requests before they move further. Approvals can be by person, department, budget, or request type. Skip entirely if your team doesn't need it.
3. CONSOLIDATE — Approved requests are grouped by supplier, department, or category. One clear shopping list or run plan per supplier or location.
4. SEND — The buyer sends the final list through whatever channel already works — WhatsApp, email, supplier portal, or phone. Produce a clean PDF or structured order note. Stock Runner does not replace existing ordering channels; it feeds them a better input.
5. TRACK — Status shows what is requested, approved, sent, and fulfilled. Notes and comments handle exceptions without switching to other tools.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• Multi-input add — barcode scan, text search, voice ("add 6 cans of cola to today's run"), or photo (snap an empty shelf, AI extracts items)
• Shared lists across owners, managers, buyers, and staff — everyone stays in sync
• Aisle-sorted buyer mode — the picker walks the shop in supplier-walk order
• Last-bought tracking — items that quietly slip through don't get missed
• Slow-mover flagging — see what isn't selling so it can be removed from the run
• Multi-shop and multi-site support — one account, many locations
• Works offline — never lose a request because of poor signal
• Push notifications when shared lists change or items need attention
• In-app account deletion, with anonymized retention for audit and compliance
WHAT STOCK RUNNER IS NOT
Stock Runner is not full inventory management, an ERP, an accounting app, a supplier management platform, or a deep procurement integration suite. It only handles the collection-and-consolidation side of requests, so the rest of the buying process becomes simpler.
