Strimy: Live Streaming

Lit Programmer

About this app

Strimy is the live streaming app built for Africa. Go live from your phone in seconds, watch live streams from your favourite creators, and earn from the fans who love what you do.

GO LIVE IN SECONDS
• Live stream straight from your phone camera — no extra equipment needed
• Hold your phone upright for a full-screen vertical live stream, or turn it sideways for widescreen
• Switch cameras, mute your mic and read chat without leaving your stream
• If your connection drops, Strimy reconnects you automatically, so a weak signal doesn't end your live stream
• Streaming from a computer? Connect OBS or any streaming software with your personal stream key

WATCH LIVE STREAMS AND CHAT
• Discover live streams across gaming, music, talk, IRL, comedy and more
• Chat live in real time and be part of the moment
• Vertical streams fill your screen; widescreen streams play the way they were made
• Follow creators and get a notification the moment they go live

NEVER MISS A MOMENT
• Watch replays of past live streams, with the chat playing back in sync
• Relive the best moments with clips from your favourite creators

SUPPORT THE CREATORS YOU LOVE
• Send gifts and tips during live streams
• Subscribe to a creator, or gift a subscription to another fan
• Show up on the top supporters board

EARN AS A CREATOR
• Receive gifts, tips and subscriptions from your audience
• Track your earnings in the app
• Withdraw your earnings, including to mobile money

SAFE BY DESIGN
• Report streams, messages and users in a couple of taps
• Block anyone you don't want to hear from
• Our Community Guidelines apply to every live stream, and our team acts on reports

Strimy is made for live streamers, creators and fans in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and across Africa — and open to everyone, everywhere.

Go live on Strimy and bring your people with you.
