About this app

Mate keeps certificates, maintenance and crew together in one place, so you have the papers in order when the inspection comes.

Certificates
Register the vessel's certificates and get a gap analysis that shows what is missing based on the vessel's size and area of ​​operation. Mate notifies you before something expires, with reminders three months, one month, two weeks and one week in advance.

AI scanning
Take a picture of the certificate, and the app will read out the type, expiration date and issuer. You check and correct it before saving it.

Fleet
Collect all vessels in one overview with the status of certificates and maintenance. Vessel data is automatically retrieved from the Directorate of Fisheries' register when you register the vessel, you only need the vessel name.

Crew
Invite crew via link. They register their own certificates in the browser, and each person gets a profile page to display during inspections by the Norwegian Maritime Directorate.

Inspection reports
Create reports for certificates, maintenance or crew with one tap, ready to share via email.

Maintenance
Log work performed, attach photos and schedule the next service. Due date notifications appear right on the home screen.

Catch and quota
See recent landings, catch history and quota activity for the vessel, based on the Directorate of Fisheries landing data. You can enter your own quota caps and track consumption.

Estimated value
An estimate of the value of the catch over the past twelve months, based on historical final bill prices. This is an estimate, not an actual settlement from the sales team.

Data from public registers
Vessel and company data is retrieved from the Directorate of Fisheries and the Brønnøysund registers.

Certificate notifications and company overview are free. AI scanning, crew, inspection reports and maintenance log are part of Pro. Catch and quota are free for everyone.
