It is a lightweight reading log app where you simply place the books you have read on your bookshelf.
📚 Ultra-low Friction Recording
Scan a barcode or search by title to place a book on the shelf, and all you have to do is leave a star rating and a one-line review.
As you read, you create your own bookshelf where the spines of your books fill up side by side.
👫 Shared Bookshelf — Exclusive to Naran
There are plenty of reading logs written alone. With Naran, you fill 'one bookshelf' together with a friend.
Invite a friend using an invitation code, and place the books you have each read side by side on the same bookshelf.
You can see at a glance what books the other is reading and what star ratings they have given.
🌱 No Pressure, Take Your Time
- Fill in the progress of the book you are reading today with a book icon.
- A small celebration pops up every time you place ten books.
- No rankings, no triggers, and no rushing.
🔒 Safe
- We do not collect your real name, email, or phone number. Just set a nickname and you're ready to go.
- One-line reviews remain only on your phone and do not go to the server.
- You can report and filter out inappropriate books and users.
- Books for ages 14 and older, as well as adult content, are filtered out.
You can back up your entire history by exporting, and use your personal bookshelf as is, even without an internet connection.
