About this app
TalkPic is a picture-based communication app for children and adults who have difficulty speaking: an offline, voice-activated AAC (Auxiliary and Alternative Communication) tool. Sentences are formed by tapping picture cards, and TalkPic speaks the sentence aloud using the phone's voice.
TAP, TALKPIC SPEAKS
• Tap a card to add a sentence. Form sentences with up to three cards. • The sentence is read aloud with the "Speak" button. • Child mode is simple: just picture cards and a sentence strip. No editing or settings.
READY-MADE PICTURE CARDS
• 34 cards come ready in lists of Actions, Foods, Drinks, Daily Life, Self-Care, and Emotions. • Daily needs such as "I want," "Water," "I'm happy," "Toilet" are on the screen from day one.
MAKE YOUR OWN CARDS
• Add photos from the gallery or camera: their own cup, their own park, their favorite food. • You can record the card with your own voice if you wish; if there is no recording, the card name will be read aloud. • Rename lists, sort cards, and choose how many cards appear in the list. • The position of the cards will not change unless you change them.
**CUSTOMIZED VOICE**
• Adjust the speech speed and tone, and listen immediately with "Try the voice".
**MAINTENANCE MODE LOCKED WITH PIN**
• Adding, editing, and adjusting cards is only possible in maintenance mode and is unlocked with the PIN you set. • If you forget your PIN, you can reset it with a recovery code or device lock.
**NO INTERNET, NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT**
• TalkPic works without internet; it doesn't even ask for internet permission. • There are no ads, accounts, subscriptions, or data collection. • Cards, photos, and voice recordings are stored only on your device. • You can back up your cards and restore them to another device. • You can delete everything with a single touch using "Delete all data".
