About this app

TapCue is the fastest way to get a link out of your phone and into the place you'll actually find it again. Share from YouTube, Chrome, TikTok, Reddit, X or any app, tap why you're saving it, and TapCue writes one clear line and files it where you work.

HOW IT WORKS
1. In any app, tap Share, then TapCue.
2. Tap why: Watch later, Read later, Cook this, Buy this, Try this, Listen later, Go here, Show someone, For AI, or a reason of your own.
3. TapCue writes a short, readable line ("Kettlebell swing video to watch later") and sends it where you chose for that reason.

Saving takes one tap for sites you use often: YouTube goes to Watch later, Amazon to Buy this, a recipe site to Cook this. Set your own rules for any site.

YOUR NOTES, YOUR WAY
• Obsidian or any Files folder on your phone: add a line to a note, or give every save a note of its own
• Your own note template, with the title, link, your note, the date and tags where you want them
• Markdown or JSON: name the file .json and TapCue writes JSON instead
• Pick the note, the folder, the heading and the file name per reason
• Also: Obsidian plugin, Notion, email (any address, including mail-in note apps), Todoist, Raindrop.io, GitHub, and webhooks with your own JSON body
• Google Keep and other apps without an API: saves line up in TapCue and one tap sends them over
• Keep saves in TapCue itself when you don't want them anywhere else

EVERY REASON HAS ITS OWN PLACE
Recipes go to your cookbook note. Things to buy go to your shopping list. Articles go to your reading note or your inbox. Set a destination per reason, and send one save to several places at once (Pro).

BUILT FOR SHARING FAST
• Two share targets: "TapCue" saves at once to the usual reason, "TapCue: choose" lets you pick and add a note
• Works offline: saves wait on your phone and go out when you're back online
• Warns you when you've already saved a link

FIND IT AGAIN
Search every save in the app or at tapcue.app, filter by reason, and see what's still waiting and what you've finished. A weekly digest brings back what you saved.

FOR YOUR AI ASSISTANT
Save a page "For AI", and Claude, ChatGPT or any tool that supports MCP or a plain REST API can read your saves, summarize them and mark them done. API keys are read-only or full access, limited to the reasons you choose. (Pro)

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
TapCue keeps only what it needs to deliver your saves. No ads, no tracking, and your data is never sold. Logins for your destinations are stored encrypted and used only to deliver. Delete your saves or your account at any time.
