There are tons of apps for meeting people. They all revolve around the same thing: photos, likes, filters, endless scrolling, an algorithm that decides what you see.
Texty is different. None of that.
Just text.
No profile pictures, no stickers, no videos, no audio. What you say is all that matters. What you write is what represents you.
Matching based on genuine interests.
You choose your topics (philosophy, astronomy, music, whatever) and find people who share exactly that. No opaque algorithms: the matching is transparent and based on what you're interested in talking about.
Private conversations, nothing more.
Everything is one-on-one. No public feed, no stories, no wall, no "friends of friends." When you talk to someone, what you say stays between you.
No noise, no cheap dopamine.
There are no likes, no followers, no notifications blackmailing you into coming back. When you close the app, it's over.
What you can do:
• Discover people who share your interests and speak your language
• Filter by conversation type (debate, learn, teach, casual chat)
• Send and receive messages in real time
• Edit and delete messages (15 minutes to edit; always delete)
• Reply to a specific message with a gesture (swipe right)
