Find hidden gems near you, see what friends have posted around town, and plan your next hangout. Therr is a local social app for people who would rather go somewhere than scroll.

Posts on Therr are pinned to real places, and some only unlock when you're nearby. Walking your own neighborhood turns up things a feed never shows you.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick your interests and connect with friends.
2. Explore the map for local spots, events and moments people have shared.
3. Plan a hangout. Therr suggests friends nearby and spots that fit your shared interests, then sets up a group and an event for everyone you pick.
4. Show up, check in and earn rewards.

FREE TO USE
Therr is free. Exploring, posting, groups, messaging and rewards cost nothing.

FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES
Own a café, shop or venue? Claim your business on Therr to keep its details up to date, and fund rewards that bring nearby customers through the door.

SIGNING UP
You'll verify your phone number when you create your profile. It keeps accounts real and lets friends who already have your number find you.

YOUR PRIVACY
• Location is what unlocks nearby posts and suggests spots. You decide in your phone's settings whether Therr can use it in the background.
• Finding friends from your contacts is optional. If you allow it, their phone numbers and emails are checked against existing accounts to show you who's already here. We don't keep your address book, and we don't message anyone in it unless you choose to invite them.
• We don't sell your data.
• Hide mature content, and delete your account at any time from Settings.

Ratings and reviews

It is a neat app. From now on, when I go on vacation or see random cool stuffs, I can take pictures of it and put it up as my space and share it on social media. What is also cool is that I can see areas in the map that show me recommendations to try to check it out. I like that feature.

Pretty easy to navigate the app, and it's both nice and bad that posts are limited to location. Nice because it reduces fake posts, but bad because it's less privacy. But it's a new concept to social media, not the same thing just a new iteration.

Fun way to connect locally. I hope my friends will want to get on to share their experiences wherever they're at, with photos and their thoughts! This was pretty easy to use and I didn't notice any ads yet. Looking forward to sharing more memories.
