About this app

Tick is a speedcubing timer for Android. Times stay on your phone. There are no accounts and nothing is uploaded.

Timer
Hold or tap to start, with optional WCA inspection (8s / 12s, +2 at 15, DNF at 17). Inspection can beep, speak, or vibrate. Hide the time while solving, or dim the chrome in focus mode. Sessions, +2 / DNF, and notes are built in. Times save automatically.

Scrambles
3×3 and other WCA events use TNoodle, the WCA scramble program. Scramble image and text size are adjustable. Tick is GPL-3.0 so it can ship with TNoodle. Source: https://github.com/qwakqwakqwak/Tick

Stats & history
Ao5, Ao12, and more, plus a trend chart and time distribution. History is searchable. Export or restore a local JSON backup anytime.

Train
OLL, PLL, F2L, CLL, CMLL, COLL, ELL, WV, and ZBLL subsets. Pick cases (or several sets at once) and time them on the home screen.

Hardware
Optional Stackmat through the 3.5mm jack (uses the mic). Optional Bluetooth smart cubes including GAN, Giiker, GoCube, Rubik’s Connected, MoYu AI, and QiYi / Tornado V4 i.

Privacy
Offline. Microphone is only for Stackmat. Bluetooth is only for smart cubes. On older Android, Location may be required for BLE scan; Tick does not read GPS.
