tomac sends verification codes, screenshots, photos, files and notifications from your Android phone to your Mac.
This app needs the tomac app for Mac to be useful. That app is sold separately on the Mac App Store as a one-off purchase. Without a paired Mac nearby, this app has nothing to do.
Once paired, tomac runs quietly and answers your Mac. A code lands in a notification while your screen is off, and it is already on your Mac's clipboard before you pick the phone up. Verification codes are read from notifications, never from your text messages, so tomac catches codes from banking apps and email too, from any app that shows the code in a notification.
Share a link, photo or PDF to your Mac using the Android share sheet or the Quick Settings tile. Files sent from the Mac arrive in your Downloads folder with a notification. Your recent screenshots and photos are available to your Mac's hotkey panel, and nothing is sent until you choose it.
Turn on notification mirroring and your phone's notifications show up on your Mac too. Dismissing one on either device clears it on both. Mute or unmute any app from either side.
Setup takes about a minute: install both apps, open the phone app once, and pair by comparing a six-digit number shown on both screens. From then on your phone and your Mac talk directly to each other over your own Wi-Fi, on an encrypted, certificate-pinned connection.
There is no server, no account and no analytics. Nothing tomac reads leaves your two devices.
Requires Android 10 or later, and a Mac running macOS 14 or later with the tomac Mac app installed. Does not work with an iPhone.
