Touchamp plays the music that is already on your phone, in a skin you choose.
It is a full-screen landscape player built around classic .wsz skin archives — the kind made for late-90s desktop players. A skin is drawn exactly as its artist made it, scaled as a single image with nothing re-arranged, so the artwork arrives intact rather than reinterpreted. Touch targets sit in an invisible layer above it, sized for fingers without moving a pixel of the art.
FORMATS — MP3, FLAC, WAV, Ogg Vorbis, Opus and AAC (m4a, mp4, m4b), plus tracker modules — MOD, XM, IT, S3M, MPTM and twenty-two more, played by libopenmpt. Files are identified by what is inside them rather than by their name, so a mislabelled file still plays. 24-bit and high-sample-rate material is decoded at its own rate instead of being quietly resampled.
SKINS — The app ships with one skin and imports any others you give it… (library, sharp/smooth scaling, semi-transparent settings overlay)
EQUALIZER — Ten bands and a preamp in the signal path, painted with your skin's own equalizer window, carrying the classic preset list.
VISUALIZER — Spectrum analyser and oscilloscope, drawn from the samples actually being played, in your skin's own visualizer colours. Or off, in which case nothing is computed at all.
PLAYLIST — Files or whole folder trees; several hundred land in seconds. Shuffle, repeat, sort, remove — and a list still playable after a restart.
PRIVACY — No advertising, analytics, accounts or listening history. Exactly one network request: the update check.
Skinnable local music player: MP3, FLAC, Opus, tracker mods. No ads or tracking.
