About this app

TraceReach Drop gives street teams and canvassing crews proof of placement for posters, flyers, stickers and other physical campaign materials.

Scan the QR code, take the photo, and Drop records the GPS location, date and time. Work through dead zones too: Drops save on the phone and sync when you are back online.

šŸ“ RECORD WHAT WENT UP

Record posters, flyers, stickers, yard signs, door hangers, window clings, spray-chalk displays, canvass stops and other physical campaign materials.

• Photo + GPS location
• Date and timestamp
• QR-connected campaign material

Scan the QR code on the material and take the photo. Drop connects that material to the campaign and records where and when it went up.

Materials without a QR code can still be recorded. The photo, place and date do not depend on a code being present.

šŸ“¶ KEEP WORKING OFFLINE

Walk a whole route through a dead zone. Drops save on your phone while you are offline and upload when service returns.

šŸ—ŗļø SEE THE WORK ON THE MAP

See your Drops, your crew's Drops and the Pins still waiting on one map. Filter them by campaign, age or kind.

šŸ“Œ TAKE THE PINS THAT ARE YOURS

A Pin is a place marked for the crew. Your Hub can route one to you, you can claim one yourself, or you can add one while you are out.

šŸ“· CHECK WHAT IS STILL UP

Pass a Drop you recorded earlier and mark it still there, or add a fresh photo to the same Drop.

šŸ”Ž RECORD WHAT ELSE YOU SEE

Spot another QR code while you are out? Record it as a Spot so your Hub can see what else is appearing in the area.

🚶 FOLLOW A RUN

A Run groups the Pins and Drops for a shift. Follow the planned route while still recording anything useful you find along the way.

šŸ” SIGNING IN

Join with a Drop code or claim link from the person running your crew. You can also sign in with email or start without an account.

šŸ›”ļø PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS

Camera
Used to scan QR codes and take Drop photos.

Precise location
Used when you record a Drop so the phone's GPS reading can be saved with it. Drop does not track your location in the background.

Photos
Used when you choose an existing photo.

Notifications
Used for optional crew alerts from your Hub.

šŸŒ WHERE YOUR WORK GOES

Photos, coordinates and timestamps go to your Hub's TraceReach account, hosted on infrastructure TraceReach runs in the EU.

A scan of one of your campaign's QR codes is anonymous to your Hub. Your Hub can see how many scans happened, where they happened and which design was scanned, but not the scanner's identity.

šŸ“Š FOR HUBS AND ORGANIZERS

Drop is the part of TraceReach your crew carries into the street. Campaigners use TraceReach Studio to plan campaigns, prepare materials and QR codes, map the work and read the response. Crews use Drop to record what went up.

What’s new

Notifications open the record they name, even in another hub.

Retake a drop photo in one tap: tap the drop on the map, then Retake photo. The new photo joins the upload queue and waits until you have signal.

Pick the emblem and color your drops carry, on the Profile tab in Settings.
Add your email there too. Your Drop code still signs you in on a new phone.

Hub and campaign switching from the camera or the map, and shared links that open the record they point to.
