Ratings and reviews

It was interesting. I liked the format, I liked that it quizzed you and curated content based on your individual skill. However, after finishing the free trial, I will not be purchasing the app. I placed level 3 and I have only a single year of korean lessons, and haven't practiced jorean in over 10 years. The story I got, I thought I understood it (loved the vocab help) but once I got to the quiz, could not understand what it was asking. I have more thoughts, but not enough space to write here.

Reading Korean is difficult! At first, my eyes couldn't make any sense of what I was seeing. Now, after a month of regular use, I'm able to get through a section in about 5 minutes. The stories are interesting, and it gets easier over time. I've learned more about natural Korean word order and the use of grammar from this app than from any other language tool I have. I like the vocab practice too. It's pricey but worth it! I started with a monthly subscription and then upgraded to annual.

Content is excellent - articles and stories are fun, engaging, and appropriate for my level. I can tell a lot of work was put into writing these which can justify the cost a little bit. However, like others, I do also feel the price is too high to subscribe monthly, especially given that I already have a TTMIK general subscription which has a lot more content and variety. I think there's a lot of potential here and would like to support the continuous development and expansion of this app.

What's new

Android Playback: We've fixed the issue with play all/repeat audio on Android. Now, you can listen on the go or while driving.

Enhanced Level Test: You can skip or stop the level test. Feel free to retake the level test anytime via My Page > Settings > Take Level Test.

Revised Pricing Page: The prices are displayed directly on the Pricing page.

Account Deletion: Now, you can delete your TTMIK Stories account via My Page > Settings > Account. (We'd be sad to see you go!)
