About this app

Undernote is a calm social network that lives on the map.

You write a note: a few words, some photos. You place it at a precise spot, right here or across the world. Then everything is set note by note:

• From where people see it exists: its dot shows on the map within 500 m, across the whole city, or from everywhere.
• From where it can be read: a shorter distance than the first. Beyond it, people see the dot and the distance left, not the content.
• Who can read it: public, mutuals, named people (picked one by one), or just you.
• How long it lives: one day, one week, one month, forever.

DISCOVER
Around you, the map carries other people's notes. Some can be read right where you stand; others only show that they exist, and the distance left. To read them, you go.
An echo anchors a note you love a second time, right where you are: people around you can now find it too. A thread links two of your notes: whoever reads one learns the other exists, and where.
No endless feed: the discovery page stops, and the rest is found by walking.

YOUR PRIVACY
• Who can read you rests on consent: "mutuals" means you both follow each other, nothing less.
• Your position is never shown to others: only your notes appear, at the spots you chose.
• An expired note is deleted, not archived.

What’s new

Undernote rewards your activity: points every week, with a referral code in Settings.

• Day theme, voice notes, an emoji as a note's marker on the map.
• Notifications rebuilt: grouped alerts, a weekly digest of your network, mentions.
• A note's recipients now show as a compact cluster (capped at 50).
• The Follow button no longer mixes people up after a removal.
• Emoji search rebuilt, smoother transitions, stability fixes.
