About this app

Verseboard is a Bible keyboard for Android — and a complete Bible app around it. Type a reference like John 3:16 while you're texting, and insert the whole verse right there. No copying from another app. No breaking the conversation. Just the Word, at your fingertips.

THE KEYBOARD
Verseboard replaces your keyboard, so it works everywhere you type — Messages, WhatsApp, email, notes, social apps.

• Type a reference, get the verse. "John 3:16" appears above your keys — tap it to insert the full text, with the reference in bold.
• Abbreviations work: "Jn 3:16", "1 Cor 13:4", "Gal 5:13", "Lam. 3:22".
• Ranges work: "Romans 8:28-30" inserts the whole passage.
• Whole chapters: type "Psalm 23", tap search, and pick the verse you want from the list.
• Forgot the reference? Type the words you remember and tap the search key — Verseboard finds verses that match, even if the wording isn't exact.
• Tap the book key for your saved verses, prayers and preset collections — Faith, Love, Hope, Peace, Strength and more — ready to insert.
• Hold the space bar to switch between English and Español, any time.

THE APP
• Read any book, chapter and verse offline — nine translations included, all free to use.
• Search the whole Bible and jump straight to a passage.
• Save verses you want to keep, with private notes and reflection prompts. Saved verses remember the translation you read them in.
• Write, record and keep prayers — text, voice and video — stored only on your device.
• Pray for others by name with intercessory prayers, and note how each was answered.
• Share beautiful verse cards.
• A fresh Verse of the Day, with two reflection prompts and an optional daily reminder.
• Build your own preset collections — they appear in the keyboard instantly.

GETTING STARTED
1. Open Verseboard and tap "Open Keyboard Settings".
2. Turn on Verseboard in your phone's keyboard list.
3. Come back to Verseboard and tap "Choose Keyboard".

Android shows two notices about any keyboard it didn't preinstall — both are normal, and the app explains each one as you go.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything happens on your phone. No account. No sign-up. No servers. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Verseboard has no internet permission at all — it cannot send your typing anywhere, even by accident.

The keyboard reads only the few characters around your cursor, on your device, to recognize a reference. Nothing is logged and nothing is transmitted. Your prayers and notes never leave your phone.
