Wavecast shows your Android phone in a window on your computer, live, and lets you use it with your mouse and keyboard. No cable, no account, no cloud: your phone and your computer talk directly over your own Wi-Fi, end-to-end encrypted.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Install Wavecast on your Mac or Windows PC from getwavecast.com.
2. Open Wavecast on your phone and pick your computer from the list.
3. Check that both screens show the same 6-digit code, and start sharing.
Next time, a trusted computer reconnects without a code.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See your phone live in a phone-shaped window on your computer
• Tap, swipe, scroll, pinch and type with your mouse and keyboard
• Press Back, Home and Recents from the window's toolbar
• Hear your phone's media on your computer (optional)
• Dim your phone or turn its screen off while you keep using it from your desk
• Show touch ripples where you click, for demos and recordings
• Pick a look: Native, Signal or Soft, each in light and dark
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Direct connection on your local network, nothing goes through our servers
• End-to-end encryption, paired with a 6-digit code you confirm on both screens
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking
• Apps that block screen capture, like banking or streaming apps, stay hidden on your computer
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Remote control is optional. To let your computer tap, swipe and type on your phone, Wavecast uses Android's Accessibility Service API ("Wavecast Control"). It only performs the input you send from your own paired computer while a sharing session is running. It does not read, store or send what is on your screen, and it never types passwords or unlocks your phone. Without it, Wavecast still mirrors your screen in view-only mode.
