This app has some cool vision filters, but I would like if it had more transparent control, and maybe the ability to take pictures. I accidentally tapped with two fingers and navigated away from the dog filter, and the only way to get back to it was to file through all the filter options by tapping with two fingers. It would be better if you could go through a menu to choose what vision filter you wanted to use. For a basic app, this one is cool.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for the thoughtful review! You're spot on - the early version lacked proper controls and photo capture. We've since added: picture/video recording, improved UI with better navigation (no more two-finger gestures!), and proper filter selection. Your feedback helped shape these improvements. Really appreciate it!

I understand that simulating dog vision accurately is a very tall order. Sure it gives the impression of extreme light sensitivity of dogs, but other than that this is very disingenuous given the app's name and the fact that other apps are more than capable of applying camera filters beyond bright = yellow and dark = blue. Also suspicious that the app trues quite hard to get me to share personal data with literal hundreds of advertising partners.

Hi, fair concerns all around! You're right - the early filter was oversimplified. We've rebuilt it with the Brettel 1997 scientific algorithm for accuracy. About ads: we use Google Mobile Ads with full consent screens - no personal data shared with hundreds of partners. You control what's shared. Thanks for the honest feedback!

Very annoying that this app cannot be installed to my external storage and must be installed on my phone memory. For what it is, there is no reason why this app should be bottlenecking what I can and cannot install on my phone. Programming it to run off an SD card rather than a phone's internal memory, shouldn't be that hard.

Hi Andrew, I understand the frustration! Unfortunately, Android deprecated external storage installation support years ago (since Android 6.0). This is a platform limitation, not an app choice - Google doesn't allow it anymore for security reasons. I wish I could, but it's out of my hands as a developer. Thanks for the review!
