PocketSiren is an anti-theft alarm for your own phone. Hands off my phone: arm it on a café table, in your bag or on the charger. If someone picks the phone up, moves it or pulls the charger, the PIN pad shows for a moment, then a loud siren starts with flash and vibration, and only your PIN stops it.

What it does
• Motion alarm: the siren starts when the phone is picked up, tilted or bumped, after an arming delay you choose (5 to 60 seconds)
• Charger alarm: the siren starts when the charger is unplugged
• Only your PIN stops the siren, or your fingerprint or screen lock where the phone has one. There is no Stop button, not even in the notification
• 5 wrong PINs pause the PIN pad for 30 seconds while the siren keeps going
• Calibration: leave the phone still for 5 seconds and PocketSiren sets the motion alarm above that surface's own shaking, with a live meter
• Loud siren on the alarm volume, also in silent and vibrate mode; if someone turns the volume down, it goes back up
• Flashlight strobe (Android 6 and newer; on older phones the PIN pad flashes) and vibration
• A short PIN pad time before the siren (0 to 15 seconds), so you can disarm quietly
• The siren sounds until your PIN, or for 1, 3 or 5 minutes and then PocketSiren arms itself again
• Alarm log of the last 7 days, kept on your phone
• Battery cutoff, backup and restore, dark and light theme, 20 languages
Free / Pro
The free version does the whole core job: motion and charger alarms, arming delay, PIN, fingerprint or screen lock stop, calibration, 3 sirens with flash and vibration, and the 7-day log.
Pro is one purchase, no subscription. It removes every ad and adds:
• Pocket and bag alarm: the siren starts when the phone is taken out
• Earphones alarm: the siren starts when wired earphones are pulled out
• Touch alarm for café tables: any touch on the screen starts the alarm
• Battery-full alert while charging
• SIM card removed alarm
• One-tap presets: café table, bag, night charge
• 3 more sirens, a ringtone from your phone or your own sound file
• Stay armed after a restart
• Full alarm log with CSV export
How it works
1. Set your PIN once and choose the alarms, or a preset.
2. Tap Arm and put the phone down.
3. If the phone is moved, unplugged or touched, the PIN pad shows for a moment, then the siren starts.
4. Enter your PIN to stop it. Every alarm is saved in the log.
Good to know
PocketSiren is made for your own phone. It can't stop someone from switching the phone off, so keep your phone's own theft protection and screen lock on too. Armed with the motion or pocket alarm, it keeps the processor awake to read the sensors, which uses more battery.
Permissions and privacy
PocketSiren reads the motion and proximity sensors, the charger, the earphones and the SIM state only while it is armed, and only on the phone. Android shows a notification while it is armed so the alarm keeps running with the screen off. If you allow it, the PIN pad opens over the lock screen when the alarm starts; otherwise you get a notification with "Enter PIN". Your PIN is stored only as a protected code and is never in a backup. There is no account, and the sensor readings and your PIN never leave the phone. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob and Unity Ads, which receive device data such as the advertising ID (with your consent where the law requires it). The one-time Pro purchase removes every ad and goes through Google Play.
