wisst is a feed of short articles, one idea each. Read one in a few minutes, write down in one sentence what you took from it, and the discussion opens: everyone in it has read the article too.
• One idea per article, 100 to 800 words, read in a few minutes
• One sentence about what you took from it opens the discussion
• Talk it over only with people who read it too
• A journal that keeps every insight you write
• No ads, no tracking, no politics; English and Hebrew
Read one idea at a time
Each card is one article: a title, a short teaser and its topic. Tap to read; swipe up for the next one. Every article is 100 to 800 words and ends with the one thing its writer wants you to take away.
Write what you took from it
When you finish, you write one sentence in your own words. It goes into your journal and opens the discussion. Only readers who wrote an insight take part, so the talk stays on the idea. You can reply, follow the discussion, and share your insight as a picture with a link to the article.
Your journal
Every insight you write is kept: this month's ideas and topics, a topic bar, and now and then one from a while ago, back at the top. No streaks, goals or badges.
Follow writers
For You starts from the topics you chose and learns from what you read. Following shows new articles from the writers you follow.
Twelve topics
Science, technology, history, psychology, health, food, economics, society, nature, language, philosophy and arts. Politics, news and sport are left out on purpose: wisst is for ideas that are still true next year.
Write one yourself
Know something well? Write it in five short steps, or just say it, and wisst puts your words into the article's parts for you to check. Add photos with a caption. Every article starts with a small group of readers who chose its topic and reaches more as they read it to the end, so it finds readers before you have an audience, and readers who like it can follow you. You see how many people saw it, opened it, read it to the end and wrote an insight, and what they took from it.
English and Hebrew
The whole app works in English and in Hebrew, right to left. Each article keeps its own direction. Articles in other languages stay hidden unless you turn on translations; a translated article is marked, and the original is always there.
Safety
Clear content rules: no hate, harassment of a private person, private details, threats or incitement, sexual content, dangerous instructions, advertising or impersonation. Insights and replies are checked before they post and articles after they are published; anything flagged waits for a person. You can report any article, insight, reply or person, and block anyone. People on the team review every report. A removal says which rule it broke, and you can ask for another look.
Your data
Reading needs no account. To write, sign in with an email code or Google. No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics. Download everything you wrote, or delete your account, in the app or at wisst.app/delete-account.
